Groveton ISD End of Year Technology Turn-in

What must be turned in?

All Groveton ISD laptop/notebook computers not assigned to administrative (District and Campus office) staff.

This means teachers and staff who are currently assigned notebooks need to turn them in on the assigned dates.

AND

All Groveton ISD portable technology equipment such as digital cameras, non-mounted projectors, student response systems, etc.

When must this equipment to be turned in?

On or before June 4, 2010 on the Elementary Campus.

On or before June 4, 2010on the Junior High / High School Campus.

Where must it be turned in?

The library on each campus.

Please include all cases, manuals, and peripherals. Please do not include network cables as these are considered part of the room itself.

Please include a piece of paper with your name on it. Although you will be signing these back in with the library staff you signed them out from we want to have a good chance to match notebooks up with current users.

Teachers returning for the 2009 - 2010 will receive the appropriate equipment on the day they return to work in August.

Summer school teachers will have access to enough computers to use email, the Internet and gradebook programs for their daily needs.

The labs that will be available for summer school as defined by campus principals are:

High School - Rock Lab (for Novanet access only)

Elementary - Cave Lab (for installed software and services only)

All other labs and mobile carts are entering maintenance status June 6th.

If you are teaching summer school and cannot use a networked computer in your assigned classroom then please click here and give details ASAP.
