Due to the school closure on Monday, January 26th, Groveton ISD will need to use a scheduled bad weather day to make up the lost instructional minutes. As a result, Friday, March 6th, will be a regular school day for both students and staff.

Groveton ISD will have a delayed start for Tuesday, January 27th. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal and classes will begin at 9:45.
Due to forecasted freezing weather and hazardous road conditions, Groveton ISD will be closed on Monday, January 26th. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and determine if we can return to school on Tuesday, January 27th. Please be advised, if extreme weather persists, we could potentially have a delayed start or school closure for Tuesday. We will continue to send out text alerts to keep you informed, and please visit our Facebook page for updates.
❄️❄️Groveton ISD administrators are closely monitoring weather conditions going into the weekend. ❄️❄️
Any changes to our school calendar will be posted on our Facebook page, website, and our mass messaging service.
